Breakfast before Beginning........

This is absolutely my favorite time of the month. We gather together each month all 18 zone leaders of the mission for our Council Meeting. They start arriving the night before and are fed, usually lasagna, green salad, corn and rolls with some sort of dessert. (I do vary from that menu...but this is the fastest and easiest.) This picture was taken before breakfast the next morning. We are missing from this picture Elders Bishop and Diaz from San Luis Potosi and our Assistants, Elders Rhodehouse and Barajas. Otherwise, we are all gathered for the blessing on the food and the beginning of a day full of evaluating, planning and training. It turned out to be a very productive day full of good ideas and plans for the month of October. Aren't missionaries the greatest! Do they look hungry? Always!

What a wonderful group of happy, enthused and LUCKY Elders . I can see the excitment written all over their faces-but I think it is in anticipation of Becky's good breakfast. Your reputation for being the best Mission Chef has left Mexico and reached the borders of India. What wonderful experiences YOU must be having with these fine young men and how very blessed their lives are by your teaching, and example of testimony and leadership.

What joy you must experience with all of those handsome and enthused elders. How blessed they are to have you for their "mission mom." I so llok forward to being a missionary some day - in my older years, of course! I know we have been counseled to live in the present, but that is one goal I think of and long for almost daily. I just hope our mission president is as wonderful as Pres. Cox!
