Cox family birthday traditions never die.....

This has been our transfer week. Gathered around our kitchen island are Elders Mil, Reeves, Jackson, Jaech, Hess, Galvan and Emery. They have been interviewed and are just waiting for their "last supper" in the mission home. We said goodbye on Monday, June 23rd and then picked up from the CCM Elders Trejo, Peña, Solis and Hermana Cornelio. Our Elder Holt from the MTC is delayed with Visa problems again.....Within our groups of coming and going we celebrated 2 birthdays. Sundays night we were able to celebrate with Elder Emery #21 and Monday morning we celebrated with Elder Moreno, our Assistant. It was a happy two day celebration for all involved.

Sounds wonderful to have have your traditions in the mission home with transfers and birthdays. I am rememering last year when we met you for our "last supper" before you went to the MTC. I know you have had an amazing year. I can't believe how fast time goes by. And just look at all the changes in our lives - we each have one new grandbaby, too!

Well you are totally spoiling those Elders, and isn't that grand. You are the best mission mom--I am sure your Elders love you to pieces. It is so interesting to see the different roles that the mission President's wives take on and each one is perfect for that mission and that dear sister. CONGRATULATIONS on your "1st Birthday" mission mom!!!
