Too many blessings to Count!

We said goodbye to some great missionaries and future leaders of the Church on August 4th...Our group consisted of Hermana Alonso, who served as a summer missionary, Hermanas Ortega and Hernandez, Elders Checketts, Leber, Valderrabano, Gontes, Rex, Cabrera, Casado, Markham, Maxwell and Theodore. We wish for them the very best and look forward to hearing from them as their lives progress.

This past week we have welcomed into the mission Elder Holt, from Draper,Utah, a late arrival...due to Visa problems; and Elders Perez, Luis, Hernandez and DeLaRosa. Again, our 8 missionaries from the MTC are in limboland....
First things first. We enjoyed 6 wonderful days with our boys, grandson, and Tina. Wesley is 4 months old. He laughs, smiles, cuddles, drinks his bottle, spits up and sleeps with his silky. We sang songs, read stories, changed diapers, bathed in the big tub, played silly games in hopes that he will remember. Matt was a good sport. He spent alot of time on the phone talking with a special someone from Orem...You'll have to ask him!

So glad to see your pictures finally!! That grandson Wesley is too darling. Who does he look like? What a fun age to meet him. Sounds like your life is a whirlwind with departing and arriving missionaries and family. You look so happy and blessed for your service.

Oh, Becky! How wonderful to see you being a gramma. You are a natural with babies and always have been! You taught me much about mothering. I have been thinking of you much as of late. I bet you are so good at your Spanish by now! I would love to hear you speaking it. I have so many fun memories with Bob and his Spanish as we galavanted 'round Mexico those years ago! They just made a change in our Young Women's presidency Sunday, and there were many tearful girls. Becca was so attached to her leaders. They were almost as wonderful as you were as YW President. But she is excited over her new leaders too. There are many amazing women in the church with many gifts to offer in their service. It is a marvelous sisterhood that we belong to. I learned much from your dear mom, whom I miss frequently. She taught me much about serving in the church. What an amazing lady. No wonder you turned out so good!!! I love you so much, my dear friend.
