One more Entry...

This is definitely the best. At 7 pm, Saturday evening we were invited to attend the baptism of Carlos. He is a brother of Fernando who was baptized by Elders Emery and Checketts in 2008. Fernando's wife Carolina was also baptized with her husband and the two of them have been such a wonderful influence for good to their family. Since their baptism the father, Daniel has joined and then it was Margarita his wife. They were taught by Elder Diaz and Elder Wille. Somewhere in this period of time Juliesa and Berenisa joined as well, sisters of Fernando. Later this week, Christian, the wife of Carlos and sister to Carolina will be baptized and this is how families are joined together forever in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Elder Schow and Elder Hatton join in the long line of Elders called to invite, teach and baptize. We are so grateful for righteous young men who choose to Serve the Lord and offer Eternal Life to the good people living in the Leon Mexico Mission. There are two older brothers that are part of this family. At some future date, we hope to read of their conversion as well.

Hi Becky, so fun to run across your blog. This is Sister and Elder Tanner, you remember Fresno Temple Office. We are now on our second mission. The first was when we served three years in the Temple Department in Salt Lake City in the Church Office Building. We are now serving as the office couple in Canada Halifax Mission in Nova Scotia. Congratulations on your mission call. We love our Mission President and his wife. The missionaries are as special here as they are all over the world. I have a feeling we are a little colder than your are. I was so excited to see this site.

I should have mentioned that we also have a blog, but can you believe we have not updated it since our last mission. I spent too much time on facebook, but we will be updating soon.

Wow. what a beautiful family that have come together in the gospel by the first brave step of a family member. That is what this work is all about--uniting families to the family of Christ.

Becky, I have been catching up on your blog on my lunch hour today; so many fun and exciting times. You have some handsome missionairies serving in Leon Mexico :) It's exciting to read about everything you are experiencing....I would be scrolling down and say "Hey, that's President Bednar!" Or "That's Jeffrey R. Holland!" I'm so jealous :) We look forward to seeing you in a few months. I'm being released from Gospel Doctine in a couple of weeks, have been teaching for 2 1/2 years; not sure where I will end up. Kiley is heading back to BYU Idaho in a couple of weeks. Back to just us and Erin, who we don't see a lot. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Love & Miss you guys, Ronda
