It was a crazy day today on the home front.  The movers came and packed up our belongings for Guatemala. (or Guatemama, as Wesley calls it)  We are traveling light this time around.  In Mexico we lived in a 6200 square ft beautiful old home, so I packed lots of stuff.)  It was perfect for our responsibilities and visits from family and General Authorities.  While in Guatemala we will live in the MTC with our missionaries.  The shipment will arrive about 4-6 wks after we are in country....so here we come ready or not!

We gathered together last month for family pictures at my Mom and Dad's old home, where I grew up.   The ranch is being sold so I wanted one last picture on the front steps where we used to poise as children and as grandchildren arrived....pictures always happened there.

It is with grateful hearts we were able to capture a picture of all of us together.  We will cherish this picture as we leave family and home for 2 years.  Wesley is 5 and remembers visiting us in Mexico, but the other children have no clue what is going to happen....Payton is almost 3 and Halley will be 3 in January.  Benson is our little guy with only 18 months. Oh how different it is leaving little ones behind.

My dear friend! This photo brought tears to my eyes as precious memories connected to this wonderful home flooded my heart. How I love you all. As a young married woman with a baby far from home, you and your special mom embraced us and became our family. I so cherish those times. Thank you for being such a loving friend. You are a treasure beyond words.
