Picture Day

The first Monday after arrivals we arrange for group pictures of all the missionaries.  This is a big deal because of the no camera rule here.  A copy of the picture is sent to each missionary via their internet accounts.  On my side on April 7th was Hermana Garcia from Bolivia with mission call to Guatemala Sur which is the mission of our CCM.  Hermana Garcia and I became special friends early on in her 13 days here.  She called me her mamita and she was always good to give and receive hugs.  A tender mercy.....this past week.....Pte Cox and I were walking out to the street and observed 2 missionaries in contact with one of our garitas (guards).  As we approached we recognized our Hermana Garcia with her trainer Hermana Brown.  They were busy about the Lord's work, teaching and testifying of the power of the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ.  It was such a wonderful experience watching one of our missionaries in action after life at the CCM.
